Street lighting makes up almost half of a council’s emissions and comes at a large cost to rate-payers. This project looks at developing and implementing a Sustainable Public Lighting Action Plan in each council.

The project involves energy audits, action plans and a School Environmental Tracking System to see that it works.

Agricultural Emissions Project
Farming practices in the beef and dairy industry are significant contributors to greenhouse emissions. This project involves energy audits, carbon offsets and planning with farmers for practices to minimise greenhouse gas production. Reducing the use of water and energy and cutting waste will lead to more productive farming.
